Aura Farming AI Video: You Walk Into Class, Your Friend Plays the Teacher

Aura farming AI is the October 2026 trend that drops people into one short Korean school-drama scene: the class dances on the desks, the teacher glares, and a calm student strolls in late, looks back and owns the red and blue neon close-ups, set to a slowed funk track (FUNK MANDALA). Here one photo makes you that student, and a friend's photo can play the teacher. It's a video, not the 2025 Pacu Jalur boat kid and not Gemini's black-and-white "Aura Farm" photo prompt.

Every model makes both lengths. Below Seedance 2.5, the 30-second video is made as two 15-second halves and joined.

A sharp, front-facing photo of one person in good light works best: the video dresses each person in the clothes their photo shows.

What is aura farming AI? The classroom version, explained

"Aura" is slang for the effortless cool someone gives off, and "farming" is gamer talk for grinding points, so aura farming means doing something deliberately cool to stack up presence. The AI version people post in October 2026 is one fixed scene: a rowdy classroom, a teacher who stares, and a student who walks in unbothered and gets the main-character treatment.

The word went global in July 2025 through real footage of Rayyan Arkan Dikha, then 11, dancing calmly at the bow of a Pacu Jalur racing boat in Riau, Indonesia. That boat clip is not AI and not what this page makes; AI versions of it put a pet or a character on a boat instead.

The classroom wave started on TikTok in early October 2026 (the earliest version we found was posted on 3 October) and spread through Gemini and Google Flow tutorials. Its hashtags tie it to the Korean drama Study Group. TikTok identifies the track as "FUNK MANDALA (SLOWED)" by dj Samir, Zericxxn and Nulteex, and the clip below carries the same song.

People also search "aura farming in class" for this scene. The third thing called aura farming AI is a still photo: a black-and-white portrait made by pasting an "Aura Farm" prompt into Gemini. Neither the boat clip nor the photo prompt is made here.

Solo or duo: who plays whom in the aura farming scene

Your photo always plays the student who walks in. In duo mode a second photo plays the teacher at the green board. The classmates are not replaced, so the finished video has one or two people from your photos, never more.

Solo or duo: who plays whom in the aura farming scene
Role in the sceneWhich photoWhen it's on screen
The studentPhoto 1, solo and duoWalks in at 0:07, looks back over the shoulder, sits at the back and smiles, then every red and blue neon close-up, the hood shot and the crossed arms: about 19 of the 30 seconds, and all of the 10-second cut
The teacherPhoto 2, duo onlyFour short shots at the green board, talking and then glaring (around 0:02, 0:06, 0:11 and 0:16): about 6 seconds in all. Not in the 10-second cut
The classmatesNo photoStay as in the scene, dancing and jostling on the desks
Sunglasses, hood, neonNo photoThe dark sunglasses (on the head, over the eyes in the hood shot) and the lights come from the scene; the hood is your own top's if your photo shows one

Who should be Photo 1? Whoever wants the close-ups. The teacher is mostly a stare in four short shots, which suits the friend who's in on the joke. Put the photos in the wrong slots? The swap button flips them before you start.

How to make the aura farming AI video on your phone

No app, no prompt and no editing. The scene, its cuts and its song are already in the generator; you only bring the photos.

  1. Choose Just me or Me + a friend

Just me makes you the student, in 10 seconds or the whole 30. Me + a friend adds a teacher slot and always makes the whole scene.

  2. Add the photos

Yours goes in the student slot, your friend's in the teacher slot. A photo they sent you in a chat works if it's sharp: ask for the original rather than a screenshot, and ask before you use it.

  3. Pick the model, generate, save and post

The default is Seedance 2.5 at 480p: 44 credits for the 10-second cut, 132 for the whole scene solo or duo. It takes a few minutes, and the finished MP4 downloads to your phone, ready for TikTok or Reels.

Choosing two phone photos that work

The person in each photo carries every shot of their role, from the wide entrance to the neon close-ups, so the photo decides most of the result.

Generator vs CapCut template vs a Gemini or Flow prompt

There are three common routes to an aura farming video. A template fills a fixed edit with your own footage, a Gemini or Google Flow prompt asks a model to redo the scene from the clip and your photo, and this generator has the clip, the prompt and the song built in, so you only add photos.

Before you post on TikTok or Reels: quick fixes

Most problems come from the photo or the export, not the scene. Failed videos are refunded, so a retry with a better photo costs nothing extra.

Label it as AI when you post: TikTok, Instagram and YouTube ask creators to mark realistic AI video, and a tagged friend should know they're in it.

Before you use a friend's photo

The duo only works with a second real face, so here is what is allowed and what happens to the photos.

  • Ask first. Use a friend's photo only if they're an adult and agreed to the video and to it being posted.
  • No photos of children, celebrities or strangers. The boat kid from 2025 was 11 years old: don't use his image either.
  • Both photos are kept in private storage under random names, tied to your account, and are sent only to the video model making your clip. They are never shown publicly or used as examples.
  • On Seedance 2.5 the photos and the scene go through the provider's review first; if it refuses them, your credits come back.
  • The song belongs to its rights holders. For a brand post or an ad, license the music and get written permission from everyone in the video. This isn't legal advice.

Aura farming AI video FAQ

My best friend and I each have one phone photo and no editing experience. Can we both be in an aura farming video?

Yes. Pick Me + a friend, put your photo in the student slot and theirs in the teacher slot, and the generator does the rest: no editing app, no prompt, no timeline. The duo is always the whole 30-second scene; on Seedance 2.5 at 480p it costs 132 credits, the same as a 30-second solo video. Ask your friend before you upload their photo.

Can my girlfriend or boyfriend and I both be in the video?

In this classroom version, yes: one of you walks in as the student and the other plays the teacher at the board, so you share the scene but not the same shot. A couple dancing together on the bow of a boat would be the 2025 boat meme, a different clip that this page doesn't make.

My aura farming AI clip looks blurry after I post it on TikTok. What should I change?

Make it at 720p or 1080p rather than 480p, upload the MP4 you downloaded instead of a screen recording, and switch on the app's high-quality upload option if it shows one. TikTok and Instagram compress every upload, so a 480p file looks softer after posting than in the preview here.

I only have an old, low-resolution photo. Can it still work?

Usually, if the face is in focus. Re-scan the print or photograph it in daylight without glare, crop it to one person and keep at least 300 pixels on the short side, then choose 720p. The model can only keep what it can see: a blurry face comes back softer and less like the person.

Why do some aura farming AI videos look great while mine looks like a cheap deepfake?

Mostly the photo. Good versions start from a sharp, front-facing, unfiltered photo where the face fills a fair part of the frame; weak ones start from a tiny face in a group shot, a beauty filter or sunglasses. A higher resolution helps the neon close-ups, and Seedance 2.5 makes the whole scene in one continuous run.

Can I make an aura farming video for free on my Android phone?

Making a video costs credits: the cheapest is a 10-second 480p clip on Seedance 2.0 Mini for 9 credits, and the smallest pack is $4.99. There's nothing to install: it runs in Chrome or Samsung Internet.

What's the difference between a CapCut aura farming template and an AI generator like this?

A CapCut template is a fixed edit you fill with your own footage: quick, but you stay in your own surroundings. This generator rebuilds the school-drama scene around the people in your photos, so you end up in the classroom with the scene's cuts and song. Plenty of people use both: make the clip here, then add text or stickers in CapCut.
