A new role for your favorite photos
Gas Station Dance from Your Travel Photos
The gas station dance is the three-scene trend built around footage of Mikhail Litvin, Ravshan and Adel: a forecourt dance, a walking selfie and a car exit, commonly shared with Akcent’s “On and On.” Here, three photo slots recast that sequence into a 15-second video; one person can fill more than one slot.
- 3 photo slots · 1–3 people
- 15 seconds with music
- Phone or laptop browser
- From 13 credits
Default: Fast · 720p · 9:16 · 59 credits. No prompt needed.

Choose vacation photos for the three shots
For this gas station dance AI template, choose the person and outfit you want in each shot. A beach, city-break or wedding photo works as a casting photo; its background will not become the video’s setting.
| Photo slot | Choose this photo | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
| 1 · Forecourt dance | A clear full-body or waist-up travel photo with one person. | This shot shows the whole dancer. Visible clothes and limbs give the model more to work with. |
| 2 · Walking selfie | A front-facing or slightly angled portrait with an unobstructed face. | The camera comes close. Eyes, hair and facial detail matter more than a wide scenic background. |
| 3 · Car exit | A full-body or waist-up portrait with the outfit you want to keep. | The person steps out and walks toward the camera. A tight face crop leaves the rest of the outfit to be invented. |
Start from the original camera file. Crop a group picture into separate single-person images before uploading, keeping each side at least 300 px. Export HEIC, Live Photos and DSLR RAW files as a still JPG, PNG or WebP; keep each file under 30 MB and each side at or below 6000 px.
A couple, a friend group, or one person?
Photo order is shot order. Fill three slots even when you have fewer than three people. The template puts one person in each shot; a couple does not dance side by side in the opening.
| Who is in your Reel? | Slots 1 / 2 / 3 | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| You and your partner | You / partner / you | You open the dance and exit the car; your partner takes the selfie. Reverse the assignment if you prefer. |
| Three friends | Friend A / friend B / friend C | Each friend gets a separate moment. Use three individual photos from the trip. |
| Just you | You / you / you | Choose the same photo in all three slots, or use three photos with a consistent look. |

What one gas station AI video costs

Dollar values use the Studio pack: $79 for 1200 credits. They are the value of credits spent on one video, not a standalone cash purchase price. Smaller packs have a higher cost per credit.
| Free credits, purchases and downloads | What applies here |
|---|---|
| Signup credits | Signup currently gives 1 credits. A full video starts at 13 credits. The gift alone does not cover a complete video. Gift credits expire after 3 days. |
| Smallest pack covering a full video | Popular: $12.99 for 150 credits. That covers 11 lowest-cost videos or 2 default Fast / 720p videos, before any gift credits. |
| Subscription | One-time packs only. No monthly subscription is needed. |
| Watermark | An account with enough credits can generate before buying, but its download carries this site’s watermark. Any credit-pack purchase unlocks clean originals, including videos already made. Downloading the unlocked original does not generate or charge again. |
| Failed jobs | A failed generation, rejected input review or failed final render returns the credits charged for that job. A completed result with an imperfect face or gesture is not automatically a failed job; generating another version uses credits. |
Save your gas station dance for Reels, TikTok or Shorts
Choose 9:16 for a full-height social video. Keep the original downloaded MP4 so you can post the same file on each platform without saving a compressed copy from another app.
1. Cast your three shots
Add one clear person photo per slot. For a couple, repeat one partner in the third slot. Check the order before you generate.
2. Choose frame and quality
Use 9:16 for Reels, TikTok or Shorts. Fast at 720p is the default. Pro and Seedance 2.5 also offer 1080p; a higher resolution cannot repair an unclear source face.
3. Download the finished MP4
When the result is ready, select Download MP4. On iPhone, check Safari’s downloads or Files, then save the file to Photos. On Android, check Downloads or Files before adding it to Gallery.
4. Check the sound before posting
Play the saved file from start to finish. It already has music. Keep its 15-second length and playback speed if you want to preserve the template timing; listen for doubled music if you add another track in your editor.
For an anniversary Reel, add your own caption after the dance or a short photo card before it. Keep text clear of faces. Use the destination app’s upload-quality setting where available, and identify the clip as an AI edit when posting.
What stays in the scene—and which song plays?
The warm evening light, forecourt, pump canopy, parked cars and three-shot camera sequence come from the template. Your uploaded travel photo supplies a person and their look, not a replacement beach or hotel background. This page has no custom-scene or prompt box.
The gas station dance trend traces back to Mikhail Litvin, Ravshan and Adel’s 2024 road-trip footage. Akcent’s “On and On” is the song commonly paired with the viral edit, and the template’s music is restored to your finished MP4. That does not mean the song was recorded at the station in the original footage.
“Petrol pump dance” can refer to this same trend. The Sunoco “dance for a discount” promotion and the “Gas Station Love” line dance are different: neither is the three-photo sequence made here.
Your photos and original results use private storage and are sent to the generation provider to process the video. They are not added to this public example gallery. This browser may retain a photo draft for one day to help you return from sign-in or checkout; that is not a promise that server files are deleted after a day.
Questions about making a gas station dance from photos
Can we turn a beach-trip couple photo into an anniversary Reel?
Yes, after separating the people into individual photos. Put one partner in the dance slot, the other in the selfie slot, and repeat either partner for the car exit. All three slots are required. The finished video uses the sunset gas station, so your beach photo’s background will not carry over.
Is this a good way to use travel photos instead of a slideshow?
It works when you want the people from a trip to perform a recognizable 15-second scene. It is not a slideshow of the places you visited: the template keeps its station and cars. If showing the destination matters, add a short photo card before or after the downloaded dance in your editor.
Which shots need full-body photos, and where can I use a selfie?
Full-body or waist-up photos give the dance and car-exit shots more outfit and body information. A clear selfie suits the middle walking-selfie shot. Tight portraits are accepted in any slot, but the model must invent what is outside the crop. Keep one visible person in each upload.
Can I use DSLR photos on a MacBook?
Yes. Export RAW or HEIC files to JPG, PNG or WebP first. Each image must be 300–6000 pixels on both sides and no larger than 30 MB. Keep a clear face at a useful size; an oversized landscape with a tiny person is less helpful than a clean individual crop. The same page works in your laptop browser.
What settings should I use for TikTok, Reels and Shorts?
Start with 9:16 and 720p; choose Pro or Seedance 2.5 if you want 1080p. The clip is always 15 seconds and includes music. Upload the downloaded MP4 directly to each app, avoid changing its speed or trimming individual shots, and use the app’s higher-quality upload option if it offers one.
My iPhone photo is sharp. Why is the video blurry or off the beat?
First compare the downloaded MP4 with the posted version. If only the post is blurry, use the original file and check upload quality. If the MP4 is blurry, check that the source face is large and clear and that you did not select 480p. If the timing changes only after editing, remove speed changes or a second music layer. If the generated movement itself is off, higher resolution alone will not fix it; a new generation is a separate charged attempt.
Does a 1080p selfie plus free credits give me a free watermark-free HD video?
Input-photo resolution does not set the output tier. Choose 720p or 1080p in the tool, and check that model’s credit price. Signup currently gives 1 credits. A full video starts at 13 credits. The gift alone does not cover a complete video. Gift credits expire after 3 days. Popular: $12.99 for 150 credits. That covers 11 lowest-cost videos or 2 default Fast / 720p videos, before any gift credits. An account with enough credits can generate before buying, but its download carries this site’s watermark. Any credit-pack purchase unlocks clean originals, including videos already made. Downloading the unlocked original does not generate or charge again.
