Tecktonik Dance AI on Your Phone: One Photo, Cheba Man's Red Stage, Your Outfit

Tecktonik dance AI is the 2026 trend built on one clip: Cheba Man dancing Tecktonik (also spelled tektonik, the Paris electro dance of 2007) on a red-lit outdoor stage while the crowd films him. On TikTok the effect is called "Tecktonik Party AI". Pick one photo on your phone and you take his place in the clothes from the photo, hitting the same arm wraps on the same beats to the original track, as a 9:16 video. No app and no prompt.

One-time credit packs, no subscription. A 5-second try costs 5 credits.

Video length

5, 10 and 15 s are the opening of the routine on every model; the whole 16 s needs Seedance 2.5.

Resolution

A sharp, front-facing, full-body photo of one person in good light works best: the video dresses you in the clothes and shoes the photo shows.

Costs 70 credits

Built-in reference: Cheba Man's 16-second red-stage reel, with its track. Your photo replaces the dancer; the crowd is redrawn as invented people.

What Tecktonik dance AI actually makes

It makes one specific video, not a general "dancing photo". The video is Cheba Man's 16-second reel: a dancer in dark sunglasses and a striped shirt on a raised stage, under a red stage light and a string of festoon bulbs, with people below filming on their phones. Your photo replaces him and everything else stays: the stage, the lights, the camera shake, the moves and the music.

Tecktonik itself is older. It grew out of the electro nights at the Metropolis club near Paris in the mid-2000s and peaked in 2007 and 2008: an arm-led style of fast wraps around the head, wrist rolls and sharp points. Cheba Man's reel from an outdoor party in May 2026 brought it back; it passed a million likes on Instagram and Spinnin' Records reposted it on TikTok. The track is Benny Benassi's "Love Is Gonna Save Us".

Why not just type a prompt? A text prompt can ask for "Tecktonik", but the model has to guess the moves, the stage and the timing, and it never adds the song. This tool gives the model the reel itself as a motion reference, so every wrap and point lands where it does in the original.

One person per video. The people in the crowd are redrawn as invented faces, so no real guest from the reel ends up in your video.

Make it on your phone: iPhone and Android

Four steps, all in the browser you already have. Nothing to install, no editing app, no prompt.

  1. Open this page in your browser

Safari on an iPhone, Chrome or Samsung Internet on Android. The video is made on our servers, so an older phone is fine as long as it has a connection.

  2. Pick one photo of yourself

Tap the photo box and choose a picture from Photos or your gallery. Head to toe works best, standing, one person, both arms in view. What you're wearing in it is what dances.

  3. Choose a length and tap Generate

The default is the whole 16-second reel on Seedance 2.5 at 480p (70 credits). A 5-second Seedance 2.0 Mini try costs 5. The exact price is on the button before you confirm, and you sign in to pay with credits.

  4. Save it to your phone

Tap Download when it's ready. On iPhone the MP4 goes to Files first: open it, tap Share, then Save Video to put it in Photos. On Android it lands in Downloads and shows up in the gallery. The track is already in the file.

Dress for the red stage: the outfit is the costume

Everything below your chin comes from your photo, so the outfit is the joke, the tribute or the flex. The most-shared remakes are costumes.

Dress for the red stage: the outfit is the costume
What you wear in the photoOn the red stageTip
The 2007 club lookReads instantly as Tecktonik: neon tee, skinny jeans and a crest of hair under the red lightFluorescent colours, a slim fit, high-tops and a gelled crest or side fringe. Glowsticks in hand work if both arms stay visible
A costume or wigKept as worn: mullet wigs, helmets, motocross gear and loud blazers all came through in the remakes belowKeep the face visible and the arms free; a mask or a full helmet visor hides who it is
A suit or blazerBig contrast with the fast arm work; patterns like plaid or animal print hold up wellOpen jacket, nothing in the hands
Everyday clothesLooks like you got up on stage at a real partyShoes in the shot help: otherwise the model invents them
A selfie or waist-up photoWorks; the model continues the same outfit down to the feetExpect guessed trousers and shoes. For a costume, use a full-body photo
Groups, pets, kids, celebritiesNot supported: one adult per video, and only someone who agreedFor two people, make one video each and put them side by side

Photo checklist

  • One person, facing the camera, face clearly lit
  • Head to toe if you can, standing straight
  • Both arms visible and away from the body, so the arm wraps have something to work with
  • No sunglasses unless you want them in the video (Cheba Man's are removed, yours are kept)
  • The background doesn't matter: the stage replaces it

Costume remakes from TikTok

The neon-blazer and motocross versions use a lookalike stage from another tool; this generator keeps Cheba Man's own stage, red light and camera.

Price, free credits and watermark

You pay per video in credits, with no subscription: 5 credits for a 5-second 480p try on Seedance 2.0 Mini, 70 credits for the whole 16-second reel on Seedance 2.5 at 480p. On the biggest pack a credit costs about $0.07, so the whole reel comes to roughly $4.61.

Posting it: 2008 vs 2026, the sound and the AI label

The MP4 is ready to post as it is. These are the extras people add.

The "2008 vs 2026" side-by-side

Put an old photo or clip of yourself from the Tecktonik years next to the new video. In CapCut or Instagram's Edits app, add both, choose a split-screen or layout, and put "2008" and "2026" on top. Use your own old footage: the famous 2008 clip of two brothers dancing in a small room belongs to them.

The sound

The track is baked into the file. If TikTok or Instagram mutes it, post again with the in-app sound instead: search the original sound from the reel and set the video's own volume to zero.

The AI label

Turn on TikTok's AI-generated content setting under More options, or Instagram's AI label, before posting. It's the platforms' rule for realistic AI video, and it saves you the "is this real?" comments.

Caption and hashtags

Short works best: "Waited since 2008 for this". Tags people use: #tecktonik #electrodance #chebaman #tecktonikparty #2008vs2026.

Keeping it private

Not everything has to be posted. Send the MP4 straight into WhatsApp, iMessage or a Close Friends story; it plays in the chat like any phone video.

Only use a photo of yourself or of an adult who said yes to the video and to it being posted. Your photo is kept in private storage tied to your account and sent only to the model making your clip. To have a photo or video deleted, email support@bulinaivideo.org from your account address.

Tecktonik dance AI on a phone: questions

Do I need an app to make a Tecktonik dance AI video on my phone?

No. "Tecktonik Party AI" on TikTok is a filter or template inside an app, but this page runs in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android. The video is made on our servers, so even an older phone works; you only need a connection and an account to pay the credits.

Can I use an iPhone HEIC photo, a Live Photo or a screenshot?

Yes on iPhone. When you pick from Photos, Safari passes a JPEG of HEIC pictures and of a Live Photo's still frame. A screenshot works if the person fills most of the picture, so crop away the status bar first. On Android a photo saved as HEIC/HEIF may be refused; screenshot it or set the camera to JPEG. The photo needs at least 300 px on each side and can be up to 10 MB.

Where does the finished video go on my iPhone or Android?

On iPhone, Download saves the MP4 to the Files app (Downloads); open it, tap Share, then Save Video to move it into Photos. On Android it goes to Downloads and appears in the gallery. If you lose it, every video you made stays under My videos on this site, ready to download again.

I danced Tecktonik around 2008. Is this the same dance?

Yes, it's the same arm-led electro style: wraps around the head, wrist rolls, forearms crossing in front of the face and sharp points to the side. Cheba Man's 2026 version is almost all arms, with one knee lift and a low finish, and it's set to Benny Benassi's "Love Is Gonna Save Us" rather than a 2007 club track. The AI copies his routine, not your old one.

Can it recreate the 2007 club look with my face?

Partly. The setting is always the 2026 outdoor red stage; it won't rebuild a 2007 club. Your outfit, though, comes straight from the photo, so wear the part: neon tee, skinny jeans, high-tops and a gelled crest. For an old-camcorder feel, add a VHS or grain filter in TikTok or CapCut after downloading.

How do I post a "2008 vs 2026" side-by-side?

Download the video, then open CapCut or Instagram's Edits app, add an old photo or clip of yourself and the new video, choose a split-screen or layout, and label the halves "2008" and "2026". Keep the new video's sound. Use your own old footage rather than someone else's viral 2008 clip.

Can my partner and I make one together and send it privately?

Each video has one dancer, so make one per person (two photos, two videos) and put them side by side in an editor, or send them one after the other. You don't have to post anything: send the MP4 straight into a chat. Your photos stay in private storage tied to your account; to have them deleted, email support@bulinaivideo.org.
