Wipe Me Down Dance AI App: No Download, Just Your Phone Browser

The Wipe Me Down dance is the low, side-to-side bounce with both hands brushing at the floor, done to "Wipe Me Down", the 2007 song by Foxx with Lil Boosie and Webbie. Carnell Nichols turned it into a TikTok challenge in 2020, and the 2026 AI trend recasts one 15-second kitchen clip by @dadxander. You don't need an app for it: add two photos here in Safari or Chrome and you and a friend take over that clip, sound included. It is not the 2020 "Wipe It Down" mirror challenge.

15 s is the whole clip on every model. 5 s shows only the first dancer; 10 s ends as the friend jumps in.

Built-in reference: the 15-second kitchen clip the Wipe Me Down AI trend copies (via @dadxander on TikTok). Photo 1 replaces the first dancer, Photo 2 the friend who takes over; the moves, camera and sound stay.

What is the Wipe Me Down dance?

It's a short party move: lean towards the camera, drop into a wide crouch with the knees bent, and rock side to side while both hands flick down at the floor on every beat, as if you were wiping it clean.

The song is "Wipe Me Down" by Baton Rouge rapper Foxx; the 2007 remix with Lil Boosie (now Boosie Badazz) and Webbie reached number 38 on the Billboard Hot 100. The dance as people copy it today comes from Carnell Nichols Jr. (@trendsetterrrrrrr, "Team Carnell"), whose 2020 #wipemedownchallenge videos made it a TikTok staple; he calls himself its original concept creator.

In 2026 it came back as an AI trend. A 15-second kitchen clip by @dadxander, posted in August, where one person drops low and a friend takes over, has more than 12 million plays, and people now swap their own faces into it. If you were looking for the 2020 "Wipe It Down" challenge, that's a different trend: you wipe a mirror and appear in a new outfit, to BMW Kenny's song.

Do you need a Wipe Me Down dance AI app?

No. The trend gets made three ways: an AI dance app from the App Store or Google Play, a CapCut template, or a web generator like this one. If what you want is the viral kitchen clip with your own face and the real sound, a browser does it without filling your phone or starting a subscription.

How to make it on iPhone, Samsung or any Android

Everything happens on this page. You don't install anything, edit anything or write a prompt.

  1. Add two photos

Tap Photo 1 and pick the person who dances first, then Photo 2 for the friend who takes over. Dancing alone? Pick the same photo for both.

  2. Pick length and quality

15 seconds is the whole clip. The default is Seedance 2.5 at 480p (66 credits); Seedance 2.0 Mini makes the same 15 s for 13. The price is on the button before you confirm.

  3. Save it to your phone

It usually takes a few minutes and you can lock your phone meanwhile. Then tap Download and post the MP4; the sound is already in it.

Two phone photos that work

The photos only tell the model who each dancer is. The camera angle, the kitchen and the crop come from the clip, so you don't need a dance pose or a special background.

  • One adult per photo, face towards the camera and in focus. Glasses are fine; sunglasses and hands over the face are not.
  • Waist-up or head to toe. Each dancer wears what their photo shows, so a full-length photo gets you your own trousers and shoes.
  • Take a new photo rather than a frame from an old video: stills from 4K video or screen recordings are softer than they look.
  • A tight crop in your photo won't crop the dance. The output always follows the clip's full-body framing.
  • Group photos confuse the model: crop to one person, or take two separate photos.
  • Dancing alone: put the same photo in both slots and you play both parts.

Who should be Photo 1?

Photo 1 is on screen for the first 9 seconds, close to the lens and in the low wipe; Photo 2 has the last 6 seconds. Put the bolder dancer first. Picked the wrong way round? The swap button switches them before you generate.

Wipe Me Down dance videos: the original, the versions and AI takes

None of these were made on this site. Two are real TikTok posts from the people who shaped the trend, two are AI videos another generator shows on its own page.

Versions you'll see on TikTok

  • The original: Carnell Nichols' 2020 #wipemedownchallenge posts (tagged #baltimore and #louisiana), and his 2026 "bring my trend back" videos.
  • Louisiana Michael Myers: @louisiana_micheal_myers1 does it in a Michael Myers mask or answers animals (a cat, a lemur, an owl) with the moves.
  • The kitchen duo: @dadxander's 2026 clip, where one dancer drops low and a friend takes over. This is the one the generator recreates.
  • Line dance: line-dance classes teach their own step sequence to the same song. That's a different routine, and not what this generator makes.

Wipe Me Down dance AI price, free credits and watermark

You pay per video with credits, never by subscription: 5 credits for a 5-second 480p clip on Seedance 2.0 Mini, 13 for the whole 15 seconds on Mini, and 66 for the default (Seedance 2.5, 15 s, 480p). On the biggest pack one credit is about $0.07, so the default video costs roughly $4.35.

Posting it to TikTok, Reels and Shorts

The file is already vertical, the right length and has the sound, so posting is a few taps. A few settings avoid the usual problems.

Posting settings by app
AppDoAvoid
TikTokUpload the MP4, turn on the AI-generated content label under More options, and add #wipemedown so it joins the trend.Adding the Wipe Me Down sound on top: the clip's sound is already in the file, so you'd hear it twice. To link the trend's sound page, add it and set the original sound to 0.
Instagram ReelsUpload from Gallery or Photos as a Reel and add the AI label Instagram offers when you share.Cropping it to a square feed post: as a Reel it keeps the full 9:16 frame.
YouTube ShortsUpload it as is (vertical and only 15 seconds, so it posts as a Short) and mark it as altered or synthetic content.Trimming it in the app: the hand-over at 9 s is the payoff.

The song belongs to its rights holders. For a personal post, the platforms' music licences usually cover it; for an ad or a brand account, license the music first. This isn't legal advice.

What happens to your photos

Two faces go into every video, so here is exactly where they go.

  • Photos are stored privately under a random name, tied to your account, and sent only to the video model making your clip. They are never shown publicly or used as examples.
  • On Seedance 2.5 the photos and the clip pass the provider's review first; if it refuses them, your credits come back.
  • Your videos are private to your account under My videos until you download and post them.
  • Use a friend's, partner's or parent's photo only if they're an adult and said yes to the video and to it being posted. No photos of children, celebrities or public figures.
  • To have a photo or video deleted, email support@bulinaivideo.org from your account address.

Bad result? Symptom and fix

Most problems trace back to the photo or the model choice. A failed or refused video is refunded, so the next try costs nothing extra.

Wipe Me Down dance AI app: questions

Is there a Wipe Me Down dance AI app I have to download?

No. This generator runs in your phone's browser (Safari, Chrome or Samsung Internet), so there's nothing to install. You add two photos, pick a length and download a 9:16 MP4 with the clip's sound already in it.

I only have a Samsung or Android phone and no editing app. Can I post one today?

Yes. Open this page in Chrome or Samsung Internet, add the photos, generate, tap Download and upload the MP4 from Gallery in TikTok or Instagram. There's nothing to edit: the clip, the length and the sound are done. It usually takes a few minutes.

My phone photos keep cutting off my body. Will the dance be cropped?

No. The framing comes from the kitchen clip, which shows both dancers head to toe. Your photo only tells the model who you are and what you're wearing; a full-length photo just means it doesn't have to guess your trousers and shoes.

Is it safe to upload my face photo?

Photos are kept in private storage tied to your account and sent only to the video model making your clip; they're never published or used as examples. To have one deleted, email support@bulinaivideo.org from your account address. Only upload other adults' photos with their permission.

Does the video already have the Wipe Me Down song, or do I add it in TikTok?

It already has the kitchen clip's own sound. If you also pick the song in TikTok, set the original sound to 0 or you'll hear it twice.

Can I make one with my mom or dad, or from an old family photo?

Yes, with adults who agree to it. Put each person in their own slot; an old print works if you photograph it straight on in good light and the face is sharp. Crop group photos down to one person per slot. Photos of children aren't allowed.

How much do 10 or 100 Wipe Me Down videos cost?

One whole 15-second clip is 13 credits on Seedance 2.0 Mini at 480p, so 10 videos use 130 and 100 use 1,300. At the Seedance 2.5 default (66 credits each) it's 660 and 6,600. Packs are one-time, so you buy only what you use; for ads, license the song first.

Can my dog or cat do the Wipe Me Down dance?

You can try a clear photo of your pet, but the generator is built for people and the clip's moves are human, so results aren't promised. The famous animal versions on TikTok are real videos of people dancing next to their animals.
